ABOUT ME

I’ve been awe-struck by the change process and human potential ever since I gained the facility to think about the big picture. I remember theorizing long into the starry night about the nature of change. What is it? How does it happen? Where does it happen? How do we access it?

I had big questions but few answers. Then I got lucky, although, at the time, that word would not have been on the tip of my tongue.

Something indefinable, and seemingly out of nowhere, shifted in my life. I began to experience debilitating anxiety, which quickly morphed into a constant barrage of full-blown panic. This lasted for years, constricting my movement, consuming my thoughts, running amuck with my physiology, affecting relationships… nothing seemed immune.

I kept wondering how this happened. I had a master’s degree in psychology. I was supposed to be smart. What am I missing? All my tried and true strategies for figuring stuff out were not working here.

So, long story short, I had it all wrong. My mistake had been trying to solve the problem on the same level it was created while never imagining that something bigger was operating under the radar. As I experimented with more soul-based techniques, well beyond the scope of academic psychotherapy, I discovered that the full-blown panic experience was just a more intense version of a deeply rooted fear that had always been with me.

This insight began the real journey, bringing more freedom, joy, direction, and the longing to share it all than I could have imagined. This website and my offerings are the result.
